Cat, Curry and Canals

Birmingham is a buzzing city.  Brummies (that’s people from Birmingham), will tell you it’s got more canals than Venice – and it has got a lot, and the canal ways are very nice for a wander, and lots of interestingly named streets.

It’s also got lots of building work going on and a great state-of-the-art, whizzy library (with a bar).

Then, there are some nice quieter areas with bell ringing.  Tipsy did think about entering the classes as the criteria was that you had to be good at sums (tick), over 11(tick) and like bells (tick).  Sadly, as we don’t live in there, it wasn’t quite to be.

It’s also particularly famous for being one point on the Balti Triangle point.  And, no trip to Brum is quite complete without a trip up to Ladywell and it’s famous Curry Mile.  We went to the famous Shababs, and it was yum!
